Proper single player events?

So this xmas would be the first event i've done but the game only reflects how people disrespectful people are these days and they just don't want to work with others...you try to get a group together they leave... you tell them they can go for the boss if they want but i personally don't like doing the boss in this event because of the traps... they kill you too fast... but they get all butt hurt then leave... or people just randomly log off half way into the first game... or if you dare to even join a guild at first they help you... yes... but then they start being nasty to you, won't help you any more then start bullying you... this... you just can't work with people any more... they are far too difficult to even talk to... so can you please give us a better single player?. Right now it's too hard to do on our own... i go in and i'm killed within seconds... the damage they have is too much for single player and their HP is also too much... for the next events can you make it more fair for single players so we don't have to keep going through this with others?, already i'm hating the events like this... it's not fun when others don't make it fun...

 

If you want to do single player, you probably need to get really solid stats/gears or premium.

 

It just doesn't work like that because they make the monsters hit harder and have more HP than they should for their level.... i have 967 armour, 178 in all resistances, 2,008 hp yet still it's too hard... you cannot play it like this... even if you are level 60 it would still be too hard to play alone since it makes it your level... but it will hit too hard and have too much HP, more than the monsters should for our levels...

 

There are two things you brought up. First working with people. As with any population, this game has some less than admirable folks, but it also has some amazing great people. Obviously you want to associate with the second group. Make sure you are not the one making those peeps in the middle of those two categories not want to work with you. I'm not trying to hurt feelings, but people that always beg for help are pests and people quickly learn who they are and avoid them. I bet if you think back to how many times you asked for help it would be a significant number. Remember that everyone has their own needs to build up their toon, and if you start thinking they should ignore there own needs to and prioritize yours, they will definitely stop helping.

On the second part going solo, be patient. You will not be able to solo events or PW's until you build yourself up. And if you can't do them, then you can't do them. The current event, you should be able to solo at least part of it. Do that. and when you cant do more exit and repeat. People that can't play the game and say it is too hard have not put enough time into it to make that judgment. Keep killing stuff and eventually you will be strong enough to solo anything. Until then, solo what you can, even if its a map 2 or 3 levels below you.

Again, im not trying to be mean or hurtful, but it is very annoying when people wont put the time in to do things for themselves and expect everyone else to burn extra ess and supplies to carry them. Be self sufficient and you will make wonderful friends along the way and enjoy the game.

 

Again people asssuming... i was not constantly asking for help nor being a pest... but people judge me wrongly... yup... so id rather not work with others when they do this... if your from that guild i left leave me alone... if not them hello but you are wrong... all it was over is the fact i don't want to do the boss so nearly everyone i've tried to play with gets butt hurt over that so they start to avoid me but i played with them through nearly the entire map several times... so i just want to be able to play on my own, i cannot play on my own ether because as soon as i go in they eat me alive so yeh... i know that the monsters are too strong for their levels and it would make it more fair to single players if the monsters damage and HP was equal to their level, to my level.

 

More like if you want to play single player, play a DK.

 

good advice; I actually pretty much soloed my way up to level 40 as a DK back when the cap was 40.

 

But what if you want to get stuff for your ranger too? it seems the only characters that benefit from the event is mages, dragonknights and steam mechanics but for rangers the damage level and HP isn't correct... i love my ranger she's my main character.

My guild will help you. We have almost all levels but the down side is we are on the Agathon server. I hope other guilds that are focused on helping on other servers chime in.

Complaining will get you nowhere and that is a fact.
What you need to do is, always farm alone so you will get all the loot, if you farm within a group your loot will be reduced.
Farm places that are easy and fast, sooner or later you will get good items and then upgrade them.

I never join groups because of the loot, only during events to help out others and to finish the events faster.
Try announcing in the PvE players wanted thread and with some luck someone will help you out during events.

I'm lvl 32 so i can't switch worlds till lvl 40, trying to get to 40 as fast as possible but won't happen in time to finish the event, i've done well so far with people in a group but my own problem is i can't do the traps, i spent 2k adermant on trying but nobody will compromise... it's coasting me way too much at the moment because the traps kill me in 1 hit... but nobody wants to understand i hate it so much... they are not being very fair, i saidi would wait for the nxt round but they ether kick me or i just leave in frustration... lol i can't do the event lvl, the best i can do is the first boss right at the start but after that the wolf boss is too strong for it's lvl. I will try the PVE forum but when they decide they want to do the boss... they try to force me to do him but how can i when i cant get passed the traps? lol i said i would wait because they would be waiting forever for me to try and get passed but they don't want to know... it's ridiculous...

 

To be honest with you, while i was leveling up to the level 40 cap in 2012~2013, I did not do much events; my focus was soloing to level 40 by farming temple and gorga and then farming cots and crafting a full set of legendary gear.

My suggestion would be to farm level 29~33 areas, hope you get some extraordinaires and legendaries, and see if you can just improve your character as much as possible

Do not lvl up to lvl 40, because the next event is "Defeat the Undefeatable" and if you're a lvl 40, your main boss will be Gorga+Sigrismarr+Harold Hard mode and they are even harder then the bosses from X-mas event.

Do you use quiver or buckler???
If you have GoP to spare, buy a white buckler and use all GoP on it, when you reach the towers change to the white buckler, unless you have a buckler with high block-rate.

Also, you can avoid the 1st set of towers, by going back and jump at the nearest junction point.

 

Since your lvl 45 if you go in the boss will be for you lvl not mine lol but i have played with lvl 45s so i can manage with you, don't think i will do any hard events right now though, i use both quiver and buckler depending if they are really projectile like archers and neferi but anything like swordmen or dragons i use my quiver. My name is Danaravenclaw on the game. I know that trick for the first towers i just jump right over so i don't get killed.

 

I will give you hint how to pass the shooting heads.
Their projectiles are going straight forward (only one or two are aiming at the player) ... use the gaps between the projectile's path. pass one ... then another one ... then another one ... slowly. If you are in group some other player can be the decoy for the heads that are aiming for the player. It is very easy.

 

Yes i know but i just can't do it lol i wouldn't of spent 2k adermant trying to if i could lol for some people it's easy but for me every time i tried i just died, even tried jumping to quicken it up a bit but still... i'm bad at it, we all can't be good at everything.
