I opened a Poll concerning Community Reaction towards Forum Moderation deleting Off-topic comments inviting players to press their concerns and attitude towards these Mod Interventions. Nonetheless, the thread was closed for no apparent reason. I found no violations or whatsoever, albeit biased, the thread meant no disrespect but an open debate or simply an expression of thought.

Although the thread received responses from the Forum Administrator himself (on which all 3 EN Moderators liked his post), I cannot accuse anyone nor hold him responsible for the given closure but I assert this thread will be locked as well as to many threads and comments being held on their very posts.

If there are violations regarding the closed thread please inform me so. There I thought the community will have the chance to speak out generally as many of us were treated in such way. I now fear this thread will be deleted or locked soon afterwards.

I thank Dragonns for his analysis but...given to the incident, he has now a perspective he could look up for. Problem is, one slight comment that strays off the topic; the thread automatically needs to be locked. No considerations. As what Novadude pointed out, we feel that we are driven away from the forums instead of encouraging us to share our thoughts.

Isnt what Forums are for? Virtual Taverns for socially integrated whatsoever to hang out with? It defeats the purpose of the forums if the governing body imposes strict implementations that are detrimental to our point-of-view.

I know what you mean. I didn't even spot the topic until after it's closed. Some players have busy lives and live in a different time zone. And yes, I find it strange the only person liking that mod reply are other mods. I have used choice non-offensive on-topic feedback before that has been digressed and had been taken off-topic by aforementioned individuals... it's pointless to refute to be honest. Most of the time, I just sit on the forum sidelines and only comment on help topics. Rant threads I usually avoid in general now; I'm only answering to this one specifically because you have made valid points and I wanted to vouch you for that.

You have to post lots to earn that title... lame Indian spam (not being racist; country code +91 does lead to India, I used to work in the International troubleshooting department of a wireless provider once upon a time) does not count. And please mods... delete the spam threads and ban those spammers. Clicking report can only do so much from my end anyway.
