    Hello Duria,

I have recently decided to level up my ranger, and I have been struggling with quest locations in towns. Why won't it just tell you the location beside the quest name? It's really annoying to accept it and check where the location is, then delete if not needed.

There are too many quests to pick them all. and I am that type of guy who likes to do all quests in per location at a time, not mixed. So it would be alot easier if it just told you beside the quest name where the location is.

Also, it would be fantastic if the quest capacity increased to 20-30. 10 is really low, especially those who are working on pvp quests(excluding my ranger), but i've experienced it before and I had to delete alot of quests and start over later. To be honest I think a player should be able to pick as many pve quests as he desires, and the pvp quests should be in a different tab, just like the event quest tab.

    Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks for taking this into consideration.

    Best Regards,

    Muscle.

Yup it's a real pain in the butt, not being able to separate the PvE from PvP quests.
There're 8 (9 if you didn't do the 10/100/1000 won battles) quests to do...now in the world can a player even play PvP and PvE at the same time???

I could understand the lack of quest space, if they added a new sheet for premium...but not even that.
It's like the dev team wants us to chose between PvP and PvE mode...why???
But they will add a new sheet for "Achievements" in the R145, again why???

We lack quest space, locker + inventory, etc!!!
This only shows that the dev team doesn't listen to the community's feedback, they acknowledge it...but won't act on it.
That's what happens when a company receives money without having the need to implement improvements to the game.

One of easiest ways to finish nothing, is to be working on everything.
10 choices is enough. A little travel time allows you to appreciate the scenery.

A lot of the quests involve stashing stuff in your inventory, which for some, especially F2P, limits the amount of drops you can collect a run and thus limits your gold and glyph accumulation. Keeping it simpler can be better in the long run.

I think it'd be great if the NPC told you the map you have to go to right with the quest. Not so long ago, I finally decided to work through all the quests on my SW, so I was about level 36 or so, wading through RCC area quests. What a nightmare to have to check every single NPC to see if they even have a quest, then the location the quest was going to send me off to. I think I could have done 1/3 of the number of clicks if the NPC just told me right off the bat. :)

This is truly a terrible mechanic in the game. It is not difficult to work around, but you shouldn't have to. My suggestion a while ago was to list the map the quest is on and it's level prior to accepting it.( the stuff that pops up in the quest log after you accept) Would take some effort to modify the verbiage in the quest dialog from the giver, but a simple thing to do.

You reminded me that I saved all the quests that were added when they expanded the Atlantis chain. Very intentionally of course cause I know the 50 cap will have dead spots where it is a grind fest. Will be nice to hopefully have those still available to fill some of the void.

Not if you know how to sort your inventory. My ranger is completely F2P with no inventory expansion ever bought, and I have managed to do multiple quests at the same time. Maybe I guess that's just because I don't have alot of useless stuff like costumes and emotes.

Still though, some people might have a couple of pvp quests in progress, and they're not willing to delete them. There are like, what, 8 pvp quests? that leaves you 2 quest slots, which is pathetic. So if you disagree on having a bigger quest capacity, then they should atleast make a different tab for pvp quests.

Finally someone who actually read the whole suggestion instead of just the end. Thank you, and I completely agree(I've experienced it more than once) :)

I know right, especially during level 41 I believe, when you finish all the quests, you'll have exactly 7 empty bars to grind for, which is ridiculous in my opinion. In each level, quests should atleast get you up to 5-6 bars. It's a pain in the ass having to grind for 7 bars, especially that your chances of getting invited to groups for PW farming is way lower.

I think everyone would appreciate a bigger quest log. If you do fill up your quest log, be prepared to fill up your inventory slots with quest fragments. That being said, you may still want to think twice before picking up every quest in every urban your level permits.

Adding on to your idea would be a way to see recently completed quests. If you are still working your Knowledge Books, you could see your Hognis quests and just reselect them from you log without even bothering to locate the NPC. The recycleable quests in Hognis are a popular series for folks still cranking out Knowledge Books as they are super simple touch-n-go maps.

We've all had to deal with this for years. If you are loading Cape, PVP quests and Ocean/HoD quests while your doing standard quests, you will have to make some hard choices. Figure out which quests are in the same zone and clear those first. Put a priority on quests that are in a series. Be aware that some of the quest lines are a waste of time unless you are desperate for the anders. For the PVP quests, you'll want to make sure you have the 1K win quest selected but selectively work the others for their mount in series. Net-net, you wont be able to fit them all into your quest log so you will need to bite the bullet and level up before you can put Cape/OoB/HoD/PVP in there completely. I will tell you that a good load of the Atlantis quest line is an absolute waste of your time. Play smart.

That's the thing. I've already reached 30 knowledge on all my characters long ago. I also had to make a hardchoice, and decided to delete my pvp quests for my ranger. I also do every single quest, because I am desperate for the anders(Easiest way to get inventory expansions). From 30 to 45 quests, I can make about 30k anders, including some dropping from mobs. I also have sorted out inventory to work on multiple quests at a time, saves me time. I still still find it annoying that not all quests tell you where the locations are, in fact there are some where you need to go to multiple locations, and it just tells you 1, which I only found out after 1-2 hours -_- So yeah, expanding quest capacity to 15 atleast, and make a new tab for pvp quests would be awesome.

I find the wiki Quest pages can be helpful when I'm in an area with lots of quests and can't remember which one takes me where.

but why should we bother multitasking just to find out quest locations. They can just add the name beside each quest and solve this struggle that alot of people are having.

I agree it would be nice to add that information.

Regarding the issue of max number of tasks among my longer list of ideas for changes is to introduce tab for PvP quests. If there is already tab for the event quests then it would be nice to have PvP tab.

Quest's location is displayed for every quest under "quests" tab ... the name of the quest and underneath it the quest's location is displayed.

I know that :p Some are incorrect though. Also there are alot of quests in each urban city, each scaled to a specific level, some are hard until you actually finish the lower ones to level up. So having to pick each quest to look at the location is annoying.

It could just tell you where beside the quest name at the NPC before picking it up.

Read the quest and you won't need to check the locations.
When you get experienced enough ... you won't even read the quest lines ... you would know exactly what quest to choose.
As far as I know all quest locations are displayed correct.

The only quest location that is ambiguous is that one in Tegan's Sanctuary/Dragon Caverns where you collect the robes in Sanctuary and put them on the dummies in Caverns. The listed location is not wrong, but incomplete. If you know of others that are actually wrong, please share.
