    Thank you, Yogo. Haruki and the Dev, perhaps give us the low level bug back until you finally fix it? give us grimmagstone back. Why not? It would be fair, and when you finally come up with the way to fix it, you will do that for all the low lvl items, old ones and new ones. Im okay to pay 30M or whatever to upgrade lvl8 crystal to lvl50.

    It is such a shame this is not addressed. I was looking forward to this release to finally fix it, and also address the high upgrade costs for items with %-based attributes. None addressed. Two major issues not addressed in such a long time. I have an ongoing ticket with support on upgrade since March or so. When are you going to fix it?

    Here are the pics of the skulls, bugged one (current) and okay one.

    As you see I paid 5.2M to upgrade it to lvl49 instead of 1.75M. This item was not touched by r155 in any way, nor the hot fixes.
    I also have a legendary one, and there is something interesting with it too. It takes less than 7M to get it from 45 to 49. But it takes 14.5M to get it from 49 to 50. is that how it supposed to work? I haven't seen such a big jump on the other items.

    It reminds me of a story about the Pullman Motor Car Co. Pullman made sleeper cars (overnight bunks) for the railroads, when it was the way to travel long distances.
    One of the passengers had a terrible night, because bed bugs were terrible, and he couldn't sleep a wink. So he sent a complaint letter to the President of Pullman.
    A few days later, he got a reply on company stationary, signed by the President of Pullman, and typed by his personal secretary. It started with how surprised the President was about bedbugs on in his sleeper. He was outraged, he apologized, he was starting an investigation, he was outraged some more on this attack on the fine Pullman name. He assured the passenger that it would never happen again.
    That might have been the end of it, except that the diligent secretary had paper clipped a handwritten note to the typed letter, and forgotten to take it off before mailing. The note read, "Send this idiot the bug letter."

    Where are the patchnotes for the last several updates. Server has been taken down and update applied with changes but no information on what was changed. It would be helpful for all to know even small changes.

    That was posted last week and the glyph issue its talking about was fixed last week. From my count there have been two other "server maintenance" breaks since then, although it looks like the dates have been modified in that post. In any case doing things like raising Baylor's HP or armor which happened on Fri or Mon and not saying so is not cool. It's now taking 4 to 5 minutes longer to take him down with similar grps.

    That info was posted last week but without date ... it has been updated 2 days ago (you can see "last edit date").
    The glyphs issue was fixed yesterday ... so I will answer myself :
    Yes my glyphs are back ... now I have 22M inside my bow instead of 10M ...
    The thief has been caught and brought to Trakilaki's court of law. :p

    You heard what Jason dude said? "We try to be as much transparent as we can." :D :D
    So they never say what they "really" patched in each hotfix.

    For the latest hotfix I can make a small list ...
    1. They fixed the Sealed Sepulcher boss ... now he only drops health orbs instead of loot.
    2. They fixed the experience tree bug for premium users ... where you could have 100 points for skill selection instead of 50.
    3. They reduced the poor drop even more
    4. They made the monsters even more difficult to fight.

    That was all I could notice so far.

    im wondering have anybody noticed that legend items, 90 percent now are coming with 2 slots just another way of making cool hard cash

    If they fix the deadly blow back to 200% dmg, it will be much better.
    On the other hand, since they added a lot more poison resistance to mobs, the thicket of thorns is not what it used to be anymore, it used to do a lot of damage but now it's a joke. So that's like a silent nerf to rangers. (but I appreciate that they made it so that you can setup from the skill tree not to use concentration to cast thickets... because before it was 60 concentration which was a lot).

    So no crit+ nerfed deadly blow + nerfed thicket and instead they give us an armour break that only lasts 3 seconds and eats 2/3 of our concentration pool. Combine all of this with much stronger mobs and I feel much weaker now. People hear about rangers getting armour break and most of them come up with knee-jerk reactions like: "omg, rangers are so op now, you have no right to complain anymore, they should take away rangers' marking skills". Really, think before you speak

    I've got a backlog of frustrating items besides those already mentioned. What about Guardian doesn't get aggro all the time? What about upgrade path (lvl46 stats) for the lvl45 items was nerfed? What about double armor break doesn't work the defected way it did before? yeah, I know that might have been unintended, but it was like that forever and pre r155 players had a benefit of glyphing-up much faster with the knights run.

    honestly i think HARUKI is doing a good job, at least you can tell she very patient with us.

    and crazy i also checked my keens, and i have the same glyphs on them, but i dont remember melting more than 15M per each one, just saying.

    Hello Haruki. One question. Can we buy in the future Honar-marks. I dont mean Honarpoints . I just mean the signs/marks for the PvP shop.(this points would be not in the honarlist, so dont worry for pvp players) I think this would be a great idea for all players.Cause they can buy legends for find the best Items. Think about this idea. A answer of you, would be very nice. Thank you.

    Hello there everybody,

    I know a long week has passed without me here so apologies for that. I mentioned I would be here on Monday but the ninja tasks prevented me from doing so. You can throw me peanuts now.

    Anyway and without further ado, I set in my armor ready and here we go with some answers.



    1. What we will do about PvP? Well, we will enhance it, naturally I cannot go into much detail right now because we have not concrete dates (in release language) for future features but expect: guild vs guild mode, enhancements to matchmaking, further additions to the PvP tree, further PvP balancing per class... We would also like to tackle the 6v6 issue (blue being pretty "meh" when compared to red), but we will see when that can be done. Please bear with us.

    2. What we will do about PvE? We are already working in applying changes to the difficulty of monsters and increasing the drops for andermant. We also want to release further changes to the drop rate and quality for legendaries.

    3. Bosses are supposed to be... difficult or challenging.

    4. We are certainly not trying to make players leave this game. On the contrary. About the Chinese aspect to the changes, which is mentioned in this thread. Again, these are your own speculations and you are free to make them and to convert them in a mantra but please be reassured that we know the differences between gaming playerbases and we are not going to impose one style on the other. We have a Chinese game designer with us that is in charge of adapting certain aspects of the game to China, which does not mean that those changes will necessarily come to our version. So please, relax.

    It goes without saying that Chinese players playing their version of the game will have their own server space.

    As I said before, equipment+andermant drops and quality of items plus enchantments on items are being revised to be applied in the very near future because we have seen hat yes, they are insufficient as they are right now. PW are coming with Rel157 and they will be scaled accordingly to offer end-game players another source of experience.


    Yes, my Haruki answers are being posted by a Clefairy with a degree in Communications right now. (Disclaimer: I know I am a pretty recent addition to the team, so please bear with me if my knowledge does not match yours. But I want to get there, of course).

    Ah, also, expect workbench improvements as well. Prepared currently for rel158.


    Oh, well, thanks. I do remember reading in my contract something about furry behaviors, self-centered nice smiles and cupcake plus tea ceremonies to be delivered during Twitch... Also, I am quite happy to be taken from the streets, yes. The general climate in the office and inside Dracania is way nicer.

    The development team plays the game, that I can assure you. As for the running for their lives: you are completely right. I normally run for my life a lot of times. Read the disclaimer before, thanks! I have never claimed that I personally play the game as many hours as you guys, that is of course a well-stated fact: however, I spend great moments of the day talking directly with the people who make the changes and understanding where your critics and their vision collide. And yes, I still need to level up my own char and I am committed to do so!

    You are completely right about the bugs, I'd give you that. Working on them in parallel as the team develops new features.
    About the Twitch session...


    Yes, please, let's try to move out from Glasdoor and general satisfaction of former employees to something more interesting for everyone! ^^

    Like those images you found, for instance, which do not come from Drakensang Online at all. *Gasps* To start with, the Chinese translation is pretty much taken from Google and it does not make that great sense. Plus the armor there displayed has not been created by our art team. Also, if you zoom in, the model of the faces for male and female are not our model of faces and we have not changed them for the Chinese version. What a surprise! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Again, Chinese version is one version, Korean version is another version, and Global version, ours, is another version.



    GuildVsGuild has been pushed a little bit back from our original predictions. We want to have it before the year ends.
    At the moment we are not considering to merge the population of Tegan with another neighborhood server, no.


    Our stats and the general daily activity inside and outside the game (social media) state otherwise. But whatever. Goodbye, I guess.

    1. Yeah, the quality of enchantments on items are going to be reworked soon. We know it's an issue.
    2. Long term motivation for PvP: further balancing, introduction of new PvP modes, enhancement of the matchmaking formulas, future implementations of new skills and talents inside Fame tree, GuildVsGuild battles. I do not think they will introduce a direct connection between PvP levelling and PvE effects, to be honest with you. Sorry about that.
    3. Damage mitigation in PvP and also in PvE is an ongoing issue across classes and certain skills and the design team is aware of that. Now they are focusing on more urgent matters (DK, glyphs, enchantments, drop quality) but that theme in particular is in their horizon.
    4. Yes, that's precisely the idea. However, do not quote me on this just yet since the people in charge of this rework have not taken any final decisions. We will keep you informed about those.
    5. Expect some changes to be applied to the DK for Rel157, yes. At the moment we are not in the position of disclosing any information but we will surely give it to you as soon as we have it.
    6. Thanks! We also like the ambiance and general mood and narrative applied with the new maps. We will enhance the drop rate, yes, and the reworked PW are around the corner. I think I am answering your two other questions with this one.


    You are always welcome to not watch those videos. You cannot blame us for liking the game.
    I do not personally think we were incurring in a waterfall of ego-centrism by filming us in that way but again, you are entitled to your opinion. ;) We are still reading, comparing, discussing, adapting, and there are changes coming to the game, as we have thoroughly commented.



    Hello again!! Psssst, we are communicating right now. ;)

    From a community interest it really makes more sense that the community manager centers his daily work in resolving some players issues (we are not technically customer support but we sometimes have to mingle there, if needed), attending design meetings to give our opinion based on what the community is saying, check bugs with QA and raise priorities on those, manage the social media channels, the official information that arrives to you, etc, etc, than the community manager spending 2 hours of his daily time in answering one by one particular posts made by multiple users in one single medium that the vast majority of the playerbase is not visiting, for one reason or the other.

    And please do not get me wrong here, I did not say that what you guys write here is not relevant. I may not have the time to answer on a daily basis here but that does not necessarily entail that I am not reading.


    I would not deny it: amidst all the negativity I see this comment and my naive CM heart smiles. Thanks for your words, Yogo, we certainly wanted to offer more transparency and I can totally vouch for Jason's honesty in this matter. And about the video you are mentioning: you can always send us the link to our Youtube channel (or here, I will not miss it). You guys may not believe it but we certainly send them feedback emails with your opinions taken directly from the forum. *Gasps*

    Hey there, well, we asked around already what happens with those characters and the developers confirmed us that they do not harm anyone there. On the contrary, there are still valuable in their way. So I do not think they are going to be deleted soon and I cannot tell you if they will be deleted later on. But as you may know, we are not obliged to keep any of those characters on Stable so in the future we face the situation where such a deletion is necessary for whatever the purpose, we might have to do it.


    Yes. There will be further leveling up with another content expansion.
    We are still brainstorming prototypes for the general story quest and location... It's looking promising already. :3


    They cannot respond it because we do not have the official info to convey to them. ;)
    Gnob is coming soon!! And yes, he will have new items. Now go out and rejoice!


    Yes, we do listen to us and yes, we do care about you. Now, please understand as well that we do not have the all-mighty power to change the game at all times based on what we read here but we are trying to be more proactive rather than reactive and we have seen that the teams are more concerned about your opinions than before. We keep firing at them your communal concerns and their door is open. So please bear with us until the changes and further enhancements starts clicking in.

    Im off to the in-game shop now to spend some of my renewed faith.

    Btw, regarding the new dark set (or should I say set 'of darkness'), could you have a word in the design teams ear about tweaking the appearance a bit?
    Otherwise everyone'll look the same as 2years ago.
    Although [tongue in cheek] many players perhaps would agree this is a step in the right direction. :)

    It might be an idea to start liking threads, and maybe have more options like read and dislike, in all other threads not just here. Anyone from bigpoint will do, teddy bear could like the point about no patch notes being provided.
