I'm a newbie player, 11 days to be exact according to my premium and about to hit level 45 SW.
And now i can feel teh grind when it comes to levelign up..

I just have a few questions regarding stuff

    1. If I am levels gap against mobs can I still hunt uniques for it?
ex. I want the Grimmags starry robe so, can I still farm herald/sigris at level 45?
Is it still worth it or should i go for another item?

    2. How do i get ancient wisdom fast? aside from daily quest?

    3. Is it bad that i rushed to 45? I have 0 in pvp ladder :3 (Is it too late too start pvp-ing now? Lol)

    4. What advice can you give to me as a SW Focusing on PVE with regards to what items(gems/uniques) to get?

    Noob from Tegan.

Some unique drops depend on the level of the mob, so yes, you can get Grimmag's Starry Robe still if you farm the level appropriate mobs. The wiki is helpful in that regards. http://drakensangonline.wikia.com/wiki/Spellweaver_Unique_Items

As for whether (any) unique is "worth it," there's a few that are total crap, and then there's ones that just "depend on build." If it's Grimmag's Starry Robe you're asking about, you're asking a fan. So yeah, it's worth it!

Get mentor bonus. Here's the guide link on that topic: https://board-en.drakensang.com/threads/basics.60450/#post-615573

Only PvP if you want now. There's nothing good from that thing unless you enjoy beating up other people, lol.

As for your last question... I don't feel like actually turning on my brain atm. Someone else answer!

Wow, thanks so much! As in! ;) Might go lazy hunt sigris now cause of this.
I completed the Deep Sea set from spamming gorga/ temple sector lol is it any useful?

Should i convert useless uniques eg:kraken or should i keep it? has it ever happened that they changed the stats of a certain unique?

I ddnt know about the mentor thingy lol. Will go into it now...

Follow up, will the Honor skill tree help in pve?

Which server do you play from? Thanks a lot master!

I suppose the Deep Sea set might be ok to use if you have nothing better. I personally never used it as I preferred to build with legendaries, but that's a lot harder in some ways.

Honor stuff is purely for PvP now.

I'm on Tegan. -jabs my signature below my post-

I found an amulet with 2 lines of + health %, a total of 10% health increase. So a 20% health increase or more is possible with an amulet, its why the devs are saying that the new stuff has the potential to be much better than the old. I wore 2-3 pieces of the deep sea set up until i found that amulet, so its now useless (im a steam mech). Id still keep it though, maybe they might make changes to the set.

Obviously i am not a SW, even my pic can tell you that...first i should tell you all my exp comes from PVE.
i know that spending a lot on hp gems wont help you at the end, from a DK point of view yeah it's ok an SW can resist 2-3 hits but we love our SW having dmg or speed, let us ;DKS; protect you and get our asses kicked while you blast them from the distance.

and there you have two choices or rather go full speed or dmg, with more speed you will have to spend more ess, but also you can use orbs and books, dont ask me what they do... or go full dmg with a 2h staff...aka spear.

remember if you are with a DK and s/he is good enough, s/he will look for hp once in a while, since mages like rangers (in my opinion) are our best companions, we love your stuns and singus, so saying that, if a mob is chasing you please dont run to the opposite direction from us, instead move closer and we will do our best to take the aggro or kill that bast.ard before it kills you.

Actually, HP gems are necessary (especially if you want to be able to solo). The only gem type that is totally unnecessary for PvE are res gems. :v There are monsters that deal elemental damage, yes, but they are few, predictable, and avoidable.

I disagree with resist gems being the least useful. Generally sets give big bonusses to armor, so you need to compensate with resist gems. The ice minions hit me hard in m2, but i guess a spellweaver can freeze them in place.

But what about the Random Monster Enchantments that they have in Lor'Tac? They said it's something they want to extend to more monsters in Dracania. If most mini-bosses will have it, then you need resistance too.

Since 155, I'm finding resistance to be more important than before. I'm doubting if even a very high HP could compensate for low res.

Erm... run? ;v Or you know, use a variety of tactics like slowing, freezing, guardian lure, or run screaming to your teammates for help? Oh wait, I think I said run twice. The other option is just to kill whatever it is before it kills you, provided you are confident you can pull it off.

For m2, there's only a few things that do elemental damage, and like I said, they are fully avoidable. As for the Lortac champions, they are squishy. Armor break them if possible and a few attacks and they are dead anyways. :v

its wise to not follow her build, she kills anything that approaches her from half a dozen miles ahead.

and maybe that's why she can kill so damn fast,
sw dont need to be in the front line even if they solo, just stun and slow your targets and keep running, after you get some good gear it will be easier to follow those tactics
