So I didn't go through locating the DSOClient folder and all that. I just downloaded Foxfire and logged on through it and was able to not only play through it, but after I logged out, I went in through my desktop icon and was able to play that way as well. This was yesterday. I thought all was fixed, but now, apparently not. Today, If I go through the client, I get an EC 35: "Client version doesn't match server version." When I try to go in through Firefox, I put my UN and PW in, click Tegan as my server as usual, and it just kind of fades like when you do a screen refresh and comes right back to that screen. It won't launch the game. I am running Windows XP, so my version of Java is not the latest and greatest like it wants, but I don't know what to do about it. I would prefer to play through the client, but you know the story there. I'm about out of patience now. Thoughts? Hints? Suggestions? Should I try the whole DSOClient folder, remove the DLCache folder thing after all?

Yesterday I was finally able to get on through the Foxfire browser, and then later, was able to logon through the client. Today however, I am back to not being able to log on either way. When I try through the browser, I click on "select server" and all that happens is the screen fades out and then back to the same page. When I try through the client, I get a new error code. EC 35: "Client version does not match server version." I have deleted the DLCache folder in DROClient. I have the latest version of Java, despite having Windows XP. I would appreciate any other ideas, hints, or suggestions anyone could give. I am at the end of my rope, but since I've paid for a premium account, I'm willing to give it one more try.

    --MERGED--

Guys, I'm a stupe. I have been staring at the obvious all day, only it hasn't been so obvious. I've been clicking on the "select server" button as though that's the way to get in, only to just now realize that the "Play Now" button, that I have been ignoring I guess, is the right button to click. I have only ever logged in through the browser once, so that's my lame excuse. I'm hoping that after I play for a bit through the browser that the files needed to correct the problem with the client will download and I can go back to logging in that way. Sorry to have been such a pain in the butt, and many thanks to those who have been so helpful.

I was able to get on through Foxfire instead of my usual browser, Google Chrome. Subsequently, I was also able to log in through the client after playing through the browser, so please disregard my last, though I would still like to know why I get that error code through the client if there was a supposed fix? Thanks.
