I downloaded dr_setup.dmg, now what?

    I downloaded the game using Chrome. I have no idea what to do with the folder, and I don't see any instructions on the site.

    The folder gets hidden in the %temp% folder, and gets updated with each new release, hotfix, and patch. You may have to track it down later, but the location is not a big deal now. It updates automatically by forced downloads from DSO.

    You should have an app in File Explorer for Drakensang Online. It has a "D" with a fiery red and yellow background. I drag 1 to my toolbar for later.

    What's next depends if you have a opened an account with the browser, or not. If you got to the forum, you probably have an account already opened.

    The Drakensang Online program opens a login page for your user name and password. If you don't have them already, create them, and remember them for later. Passwords are case sensitive, and the login is unforgiving.
    Once you log in, choose a server. Your account can go to different servers, but the internet is not created equally. Your toons are not transferable to other servers, though many have tried to change BigPoint's mind.

    If all else fails, login on a web browser, and get Support help.
    There may be some help buried in the forums, but where?

    Note: Chrome no longer supports Java, which is required to play the game. Firefox is recommended for browser play, but others may or may not work at any given time. Any browser should get you to the website, but DSO server problems and internet hassles play hell with all of them.

    New characters get mild tutorials in game. Most of it is learn by doing. http://drakensangonline.wikia.com/wiki/Drakensang_Online_Wiki is the best online quick reference.

    Sorry Darwarren, but ".dmg" implies that this is a Mac. He can only play through his version of the client.

    Being a Windows guy, I can't really help except to give you this little bit of advice... buy a PC.

    Thanks for the correction. I get this way every year around my BD.

    So, he's just SOL, stuck with mac browser? It bites to be him.
