Lortac Harbingers event

I was sitting at lv40 for the longest time, so when I recently decided to get to lvl45, it was already close to lv50 update.
So I have a bunch (several thousand) of Tablet Fragments from the Lortac event, which are supposed to get me uniques once I get to Lortac.
My question is, its been awhile, and it might take another month to get to 45, so am I going to get those uniques?

I tried looking this up, but the wiki is unreliable/incomplete.

 

The event is long over and the time period for exchanging the tablets is long gone.

Sorry, ended mid February with R161. It was announced, and anyone who was actively leveling when they got frags had ample time to reach 45-50 to turn them in. On the up side, they aren't that good, especially with Crafting 2.0 coming, so you aren't missing out on much.

 

As _Baragain_ said, there was an announcement about the fact that anyone still owning those tablets fragments should try and turn them in ASAP. You didn't even need to level up; lv45 would've been enough (I know for sure, a friend who was on hiatus tested when I told him to rush to Yaltepetl, and he was still lv45, but could get the boxes). If you don't have good gear, that set would've been a little helpful, but essentially it's not such a big deal. Guess you can still sell the frags for gold... IIRC they add up to quite a nice amount.

 

The gear was not very good, and it would be usually surpassed by average legendaries once you start farming the pws. You can still buy them at equipment level 46 for anders from the merchant unique seller in Yaltepetl.

That being said, if you turned in the tablet frags at level 50, you got equipment level 50 items instead of the level 46 items that can bought in the shop. I did that for both my characters but melted them anyway.

 

I'm still using mine (level 46 to 50, depending on when I redeemed the tablets) ... in a catch 22 situation: Gear is too weak to farm PW, but can't get anything better until I can successfully farm PW. (Well, I did get 3 pieces of the Dark set when it was on sale with Gnob. Minor improvement so far ... really need more of that set to feel a significant difference.)

Bottom line, I feel for ImmortalDeath (but, dude, you should have read the release notes!).

 

eh... I liked the old PW... the new one is so based on progression in the quests, and I'm at an awkward lvl43 (44 soon) so it's hard to find groups... but I would rather use soulstones than ander

Also, I could level real fast but then my full leg/unique gear would get EDIT and I couldn't do ANY pvp (I've been a pve player but lately pvping)
