Ghastly Black Widow Excruciating Solo

And here is is, the companion to my Dragan solo video:

 

I found the black widow easyer to solo on excruciating then dragan but still good job Baragain you are a blast.

 

As ashamed as I am to admit it, I discovered three runs after this that you can make your life a little easier.

If you destroy spider eggs before they hatch over time, the mini spiders don't spawn (unlike in Arachna or the Loxly Caverns PW). In a later run, I did even better because I targeted those eggs before they hatched and had a lot more freedom of movement to doge the breath.

 

Haha ... you should have asked ... that is how I was soloing it at TS with my SW ... singularity on those eggs and after they are history it is lot more pleasant fight

 

Not a solo fight, but it goes to show that a good team will have no issues with these bosses. We only had the SW on the eggs (because he kicks some serious butt), but if an individual doesn't have as much DPS as him, they could tag team. A mech could easily handle them with a Tesla, or a RA could deal with them with using net and EA/PS.

Based on some of the complaints I've seen in other threads, it seems that everyone has forgotten the point of team work and each team member having a roll. Sometimes someone needs to shift their attention to an equally important task (like the eggs) instead of playing the hero and DPSing as much as they can. Some times it is easier for the DK to go tank and hold the agro instead of trying to tank and DPS.



I'm still waiting for a boss that can not be soloed by anyone, but can only be done when you have a mixed team that works together using their unique strengths while covering each others weaknesses. That would be a unique challenge and I'd love to see DSO evolve like that.

 

I couldn't see the video at first it was showing some error ... but now I can.

EDIT: It was OK fight ... but those rangers must get close to the spider and use their DB.

 

Yea, in the description I gave it on YouTube, I said "Maybe the team could have optimized their damage output a little..." but even still, a less than perfect run still shows that it isn't that tough on painful.

 

I didn't check youtube I was playing it here ... anyway ... that is true it is very easy when you are in team but if you are doing it alone ... especially in excruciating mode ... one mistake may fill the room with million spiders. And when they are out ... you can't do anything because of the lag they are making.
I was playing with a friend of mine at excruciating mode ... and we had a great lag ... not a single skill was working ... He left to town since we both died and I left alone to deal with the army of lagy spiders
I spent 3K andermant for reviving ... but as stubborn and defiant I am ... I did killed them all
