essence indicator

hi, maybe someone have posted similar therad but here it is, i think it qould be amizing if there was an essence indicator for all players in group what essence are they are using at that time, lets say everybodys name are the same colors as the essence the person is using at that time, this is very useful because many players are lying about essence so this would help a lot...

 

I can see it be useful, but I dont see DSO caring enough for it to be added. Also this is better to be at the creative corner section.

Agree would be useful. Also if you know people are being cheap on the essence don't group with them

It would increase my willingness to group up with unknowns in the wolf event and other special essence events (snow essence from winter event and colored essence from a few years back comes to mind). As it is, I only group up with people I know for these events.

 

This used to be semi-implemented back in the day. They removed it because of the discrimination I believe.

It has been suggested before (many, many times), and the idea that I liked best was a small icon next to their name in the group display on the HUD.

That is great for groups, but then there isn't any way to tell about other people, like those noobs in Swerfield who love to use reds and then claim "Nope, I'm only using greens," and then don't respect you enough to do a damage test to prove it. Personally, anytime someone accuses me of using reds, I offer them a demonstration and I'll use reds. They stop crying about my 15k-24k crits when I hit them for a 60k-70k crit.

 

my idea is to have a colored glow effect around your weapon/orb/hand that is the color of the essence equipped. It can either be a constant glow or a pulsating glow
