Draken usage?

How to use drakens effectively ? Do I buy uniques like armour of darkness or Sargon set or dragonache ?(if so which one and should I buy one by one when I can or save draken and buy them all at once) or do I save them for jade nuts r should I save them for something else?

 

If you're a dk or steam mech, black warlord set is the most desirable. If you're a ranger or sw, armor of darkness is probably better. But, with respect to armor of darkness, a lot of players like to only use 3 or 4 pieces, rather than the full set. And it is possible to wear black warlord plus 3 armor of darkness.

Its also best to wait until the pieces are on sale rather than gambling on lucky spheres. I would pass on the sargon equipment.

As I play a dk and mech, i use the black warlord set. Out of the gnob equipment, my dk uses full black warlord, plus the torso, glove, and boots from armor of darkness, plus 1 bloodtooth ring from dragonache set. My mech uses the full black warlord set plus the full dragonache set.

However, I obtained my black warlord pieces back when it was a drop in the dragan events, not with draken.

They can be, depending on what other items you have to combine them with or what your goals are, a big chunk of high-end player builds are constructed with either the Black Warlord or the Armor of Darkness sets as a base.

As for the Dragonache (Dragonsilver) I personally found little use for the full set, but there's also a lot of people using the Bloodtooth (or even 2 of them) as an individual item with great results.

You might want to check the Show what you have thread on the SW section to get some ideas.

I don't recommend any of Sargon's items, perhaps, just perhaps, the weapon adornment could be useful if you have a way to make up for the -35% armor value.

The Black Warlord set comes as a limited time offer on Gnob every now and then, it's not a permanent offer, my rough estimate is every ~3 months.
