Life giver now at Lv. 47 or wait?

Tittle says it. Should I wait for Lv. 50 or buy it at Lv. 47, as it will be very expensive to Lv. it up or will it help me as a new player to get it at Lv. 47. I'm about 200 draken away from being able to purchase it.


I have a decent DK for a new player 47.6 residence 9000 HP w/ the 5% pet avg. damage 700
My crit will come down but over all it's about the same weapon that i'm using now damage ways, which has been leveled up 7 times.

You won't be needing damage for purely tanking, so I'd suggest waiting until lv50 (weapon cost will stay 6k Draken) and include it then into your build as you try to optimize it. Happy gaming and good luck leveling up!

 

The weapon potential for Hp regen when block happen. Not for it offensive benefit. I guess it does not matter the level, only get slightly higher damage between 3 level.
What matter is, do your stats & build support this weapon?
- Do you have good block rate?
With over 70% block rate it's going to be fun to have the weapon trigger the hp regen bonus.
- Do you have good Hp pool?
The bonus only 0.8% of max Hp. Check how much Hp can you heal first.
- Do you have good armor?
The amount of heal might not effective if you have low armor.
- Is there any better item to buy?
Should you save the draken for other item that harder to get? Is there any item that gives more flexible benefits?

 

If you're trying to get to level 50 quickly, might as well wait.

 

I've only been playing for a short while and my gear is just OK I haven't had a good 2H drop since lv.'s 20
My stats - health 9400 - block rate only 37.13 and armor 3285 around 37% though I do have the wolf slayer shield.Would this be enough to fight in the PW's. Or be an OK teammate.
You seemed to suggest an future item that I may want more when offered. What would that be?

 

Dragan event still on, you can test playing in Ravencaw painful. The monsters power more-less like PW monsters. Do you use too many hp potions there? If yes, probably you would use too many hp potions also in PW later. FYI there are ranged monsters in the first map in PW, you will likely getting many hits.
If end up having not that much improvement at lvl 50, you might need stronger partner to help you getting through PW quests.
Because if you group with fresh 50, the group will having hard time together, since the monsters hp increase.

About getting 2h weapon. I prefer to craft than to wait for good drop. I believe sometimes and more often you got green/blue 2h with 45%-65% idioti line.
That weapon is potential for your first 2h, especially later at fresh 50. Collect as many as you can.. craft it to get pink 2h with at least 100%+ idioti and some damage on the other line.
And since you have a lot ingredients, does not need to follow advise as to craft blue to pink with combination 1/2+1/2+0/2+0/2. Just do it with 1/2+1/2+1/2+0/2 or 1/2+1/2+1/2+1/2 to get faster result with less cost.
For example let's say you have blue ingredients:
1. 64% idioti
2. 46% idioti
3. 55% idioti
4. 60% idioti
Combine those 4 together, you have a good chance to get 2h pink at least 100%+ idioti and hope the random line is damage.
If you don't have many ingredients you can try farm solo easy map with plenty of green drop like Thunder Crest from the dragon minibosses..
Yes you will get lower level weapons. Play events to get 2h green/blue at your level.. combine them together, the weapon level will increase.. upgrade with glyph the pink weapon a bit considered the cost still cheap.
The benefit being 2 handed Dk is to get heal from MWS. 2H weapon with at least 600dps capable enough to heal you in PW with green ess on, blue ess for minibosses & purple ess for boss. Of course sometimes you die, but PW has no entrance fee, so can always enter the map again and again..

1. Black Warlord Set (may took a year playing all events to get enough draken to buy it, a guy in youtube did it with only 14k+ drakens by buying lucky spheres to complete 16 pcs on 1 item, then complete the other 2 items with buying tier 1 or tier 2. I did it with 15800 drakens with his method. If you have at least 17k drakens you good to go).
2. Bloodtooth (Bought it soon as have enough draken, at least the first bloodtooth).

Back to the Life giver weapon. Character that may get benefit the most from the weapon is a character that have high Hp, high block rate & block strength. I would say 16k Hp, 60% block rate & 60% block strength may not enjoy fully the benefit of the weapon. But with 20k Hp, 70% block rate & 70% block strength it sure does.
