cloak of power comparison

After deleting the old Hod quest, i didn't touch the cloak of power quest for 3ish years, until recently when I got bored of my compendium being incomplete.
So i started farming, which btw is incredibly easy and boring, and i did 100 runs for 10 cloths. (other items took less than 1 hour to get)

Is this the rate you guys get it? i think maybe the droprate for cloths goes down as you level up past 45.

Anyways, I have been using undefeatables cloak for a long time (for convenience farming) and I wonder what you guys think about cloaks.

I know ghost cloak from halloween is best right now (for rangers atleast), but I missed that event. I don't use dragan gear and the dragan cloak is anyways pretty bad for rangers. That leaves the new moon cloaks. Since that update I played new moon once and quit in the middle due to sheer boredom (farming that giant stupid map and not being able to farm boss). Is it worth it to get new moon cloak? what do i need to do? how much fairy wood needed? which cloak, dark or light?

any other cloaks? i havent got kaylin lefre cloak from nefertari even after getting 10ish seals.

 

My SW and DK both have the cloak of power. It took forever in Atlantis above Water to get the cloths and strands for each character. The stones on Gleaming Mountains took like 1/2 an hour each.

Each character (SW and DK) in Atlantis:

• Cloths : about 1 in 5 to 20 runs : 350-500 runs
• Strands : had all 90 by the time found the 10th cloth.
• Time : 4 - 6 weeks (mostly only weekends)

The drop rate is completely random. Some people get them quickly. For some, like me, it took forever. I got to the point where I was using the quest guidance and only killing that which attacked me along the way to the beatles. When the beatles were gone, I'd reset the map. Help made it easier to kill everything, but didn't help with drops.

 

Try the Karabossa Cloak. It gives good critical hit rate and critical damage. I find it the best cloak for my spellweaver, but I guess it works great for rangers too (since they rely a lot on critical hits to deliver high damage).

 

Yep me too. I'm level 44 and have been doing on average 4-6 total clear in Atlantis every day since level 40. I have 18/30 of the cloths from the beetles ( Beatles are a group ) and it's driving me to distraction.

though i have to say, after i made this post, i spent a day farming and got the cloak. really quite easy...

now, is it worth anything after lvl55 craziness, idk...
