    Hello everyone,
For some reason, the in-game objects look really jagged for me, even when I turn on Antialiasing to the highest possible setting via the Nvidia control panel. For example, my DK’s sword looks really rough and sharp at the edges and, although it’s not a major issue for me graphically, it can be pretty annoying visually.

When I watch YT videos of people playing DSO, the game’s objects never look so jagged and annoying as they do for me.

Anyone else have this issue? Anyone know how to fix this? Perhaps the devs could add an option to increase the level of antialiasing in the graphics settings.
    All help is much appreciated.

P.S: For those of you who may not be tech nerds like me, check out this link which explains what antialiasing is: https://www.gamingscan.com/what-is-anti-aliasing/

  2. Perhaps you could post pictures of what you are describing so we can see the effect you are talking about. A picture is worth a thousand words.

As you can see the edges look really rough and jagged (it is especially noticeable in Image 1). Can you see the "stairstep" effect on the edges of the sword?

What are you in-game quality settings like? DSO doesn't look nearly as jagged as that to my eyes, and I doubt your NVIDIA settings will do much more for it.

I play the game at max graphics (High graphics quality: On; Shadows: High; SSAO: On; etc.).

    EDIT
I think I know the reason, I usually play at 1200x800 resolution; I tried playing at 1920x1080 and it looked much nicer. Anyway, thanks everyone for the help.

It is either your resolution or your settings (not the game settings) since you said you were tampering with the graphics settings.
The only way for me to get that kind of distortions is to manually stretch the window. I can do that in browser and make the window disproportional (I haven't played in client for a long time I don't know if still possible).
My graphic card is probably not as good as yours ... yet I can't complain about the game graphics.

Yea, some funny artifacts happen when you don't play at the standard 1080p, 16:9 aspect ratio. My mini-map "vibrates," as do item descriptions when I press control when I'm playing at 1440p, 21:9. Once the weird twitching dies down, everything else looks great. I've just gotten used to it by now.

Yes, I’m pretty sure it is to do with my screen resolution. Thanks for your input, it’s much appreciated ;)
