Leaderboards Skill Score

Would you like a leaderboard that factors in skill and rewards accordingly?

    As well as the current points you get for monster kills and time, for the leaderboards in the PWs, how about an additional score for skill?

    I'm thinking that either all the way (live) during a run, or at the end you would be presented with a percentage skill score. This could be based on; accuracy of hits\number of misses, number of hits taken by monsters, and maybe a style score (based on combination\range of skills used.

    there is no consistent way to determine something like this, and it would also be a significant bit of coding and likely there would be bugs. so I don't think its a good idea. There are higher priorities

    Agreed.

    If you want evidence of why they shouldn't do this, look at the travesty that is the CV system. They can't even provide a truly objective value when there exists a way to make an objective system. Yet Teleportist thinks that they could take an inherently subjective idea and give us a system that has some semblance of fairness. I applaud his optimism, but it would be a mess.

    The idea is that players using skill would also be rewarded, as well as those who simply play for 10+ hours a day,
    or are big spenders, or simply lucky with drops/crafting. Shouldn't skill also be rewarded?

    In response to the other replies. Set aside whether you think the development team is capable of programming
    this or not. Only they can answer that. Rather ask yourself if you'd like to be rewarded for playing the game with
    some skill. To me that is the most rewarding way to progress.

    The game knows when you hit a monster or miss a monster. Likewise it also knows when a monster hits you. So just create a counter for that. Maybe add something for multiple hits etc... I don't see this being technically that challenging.

    I should have done this when I started the thread, but would a moderator kindly add a poll please.

    Idk what to say about this.. like some from here say, there are highter priorities... but i want, and i like if u are agreed with me for another things, in many games if a player are online in each period he got a little rewards, example;
    30min online got x reward
    1h.... x reward..
    2h.... x reward..
    5h....x reward and done.
    Next day if u are online 5hours u will got again the rewards and repeat for ever :)
    And why not maybe something very important in last reward to make a difference from old player who play in each day x hours to new players, a small but good reward and in time make a difference!! .... like a permanent buff who will grown in time. ;)

    Not that I am against this ... but i see no point in making it.
    This will lead to more exploits and cheating .... here we go again :D :D
    Auto aim is one of them :)
