Q7 or Q4 set?

Hello!
I have a big dilemma - Q7 or Q4 set?
I know that most of Rangers use Q7 but I think that Q4 will fit my playstyle better than Q7.
On Q4 i don't need to have a full set - i need just a bow. But im scared that if i buy the Q4 bow, then i will not be happy with its power and then it will be just a waste or materi.

So im asking some more skilled Rangers what is better?

 

I think Q7 set would be a better choice,it fits with my playstyle so it is fine for me.Ofc not all players want to play with the same playstyle,so the final choice is yours.

 

Well I'm not sure how 'skilled' I am but as far as experience goes my main RA has was created when the class was introduced in Dec 2011. I do not use any HoaxBow on my live servers but I do have both Q4 and Q7 on TS. There I prefer Q4.

Yes, most rangers use the Q7 set. The Q7 legend has spread so much that you may even get kicked from groups (if they're random groups, not your friends) if you're using a different set. And sadly, the legend is true. It easily destroys the Q4 bow/set by giving you free buffed explosive arrows every few seconds.

I'm using the Q4 set, though.
However, I don't even bother to have Bird of Prey in my skill bar because it's useless in pve. The set does not buff it at all apart from a wider stun effect which won't help you much, and it won't help you AT ALL against bosses :/

When I first bought the bow, I made a mistake by misunderstanding the description. It says it deals 200% of your base damage as bleeding damage over 4 seconds to all foes hit by Scatter Shot, which of course means 50% every second, not 200% every second. But I suppose no one else is as stupid or will pay as little attention to it as I did.

But I've been using Q4 for a long time now and I've grown into a proud Q4 user no matter what others say.
I don't like using Net and I don't like using Explosive Arrows against crowds where random unmarked monsters stand in the way. Although rangers would say it's nothing to worry about because the Q7 buff simply obliterates everything.

Now, as for purchasing parallel world equipment,
if I'm not mistaken, in the upcoming patch it should be cheaper. Maybe it's a good idea to wait till the new patch drops in live servers?

 

I use a two-hand bow because of q7 set.

Otherwise, I would play with a long bow.
